Piano and Improvisation Lessons

Luis Marin, devotes a big portion of his time to share his music knowledge and experience that span for more thirty years
At the PR Conservatory of Music, Marin served as professor of the Piano Jazz & Caribbean Music studio since the opening of that undergraduate degree in 2004 thru 2016. 
 
He has also served as ensemble instructor, and as conductor of the CMPR Concert Jazz Orchestra and Chair of the Jazz and Afrocaribbean Music for five years. As an active clinician he has traveled to the U.S. and Latin America, lecturing in Panamá as part of the Panamá Jazz Festival (2010-2013), at Sam Houston University in Huntsville, Texas (2011, 2013 & 2018),University of North Carolina School of the Arts(2020),  Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA (2009), Jazz Festival of Chihuhua in Chihuahua, Mexico (2012), IVth International Congress of Music, Identity and Caribbean Culture,  (Conference: Jazz from the Caribbean Perspective), at the Centro Cultural Eduardo León Jimenes in Dominican Republic, at Columbia College, in Chicago, IL (2008), Universidad de Xalapa, at Xalapa, Mexico (2006), International Association of Jazz Educators Conference at New York, NY (2007), International Association of Jazz Educators Conference at Toronto, Canada (2008).

Luis spends his professional time playing, recording and traveling with different artists and offering private lessons.
